Frederick Myron Clark, 86, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (March 19, 2008) at his home. He was born on January 7, 1922 in Byesville, son of the late Edward F. Clark and Bessie (Moorehead) Clark. Mr. Clark was a locomotive engineer for ConRail/Pennsylvania Railroad for thirty years, retiring in 1987. He was a 1940 graduate of New Concord High School. He received a bachelor's degree in geology from Muskingum College. Mr. Clark was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during World War II from 1942 to 1945. He was a staff sergeant in the Army Air Corp, stationed in Italy with the 15th Air Force. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dwight E. Clark and a sister, Jeanette Wilson. He leaves several cousins; and his caregivers, Gordon Savage and Donna Brill of Cambridge. No calling hours will be observed. No services will be held at this time.
