Gary R. Alldredge, 87, of Freeport, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at SEORMC. Gary was born on November 29, 1937, in Alliance, Ohio, a son to the late Leonard and Georgia (Thomas) Alldredge. Gary worked for Chrysler until he was thirty-five years old. After leaving Chrysler, he owned and operated the towing and body shop in Atwater and eventually owned Timberline Cabins. Gary enjoyed riding on his Honda Goldwing with Roxanne '1'. He was a deer hunter, was very sociable and loved being around people and very self-sufficient. When thinking of Gary, many words come to mind. He was ornery, kind, loyal, strong, always positive, and a great story teller. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Debra Westfall, and his grandson, Dylan Berry. Gary is survived by his daughter, Vicki (Todd) Campbell of Harlan, IN, his grandchildren, Mariah Thullner, Malachi Thullner, and Jake Korngable, as well as his beloved dog, Roxanne '3'. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, from 11AM-1PM with the service to immediately follow at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the burial to follow at Antrim Community Cemetery.
