QUAKER CITY -- Services will be 1 p.m. Monday at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, for Gary R. Dollison, 65, of Quaker City, who died Thursday (Dec. 14, 2006) at his home. The Rev. Bill Cain will officiate. Burial will be in the St. Johns Cemetery in Wayne Township. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today (Sunday) at the funeral home. Masonic services will be 6:30 p.m. today at the funeral home. He was born Oct. 13, 1941, at the home of his parents on Yoker Valley Road. Mr. Dollison retired from Champion Spark Plug, following 35 years of service. He attended Quaker City Baptist Church. He was a member and past master of Quaker City F&AM 500, Masonic Lodge; and a member of Scottish Rite, Cambridge. He was a 1959 graduate of Batesville High School and a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a HAM Radio operator and model airplane builder. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Andrew Dollison and Elizabeth (Carpenter) Dollison. He leaves his wife, Sharron (Keadle) Dollison of the home, whom he married Sept. 27, 1963; a son, Carl (Lori) Dollison of Quaker City; a daughter, Christine (John) Huffstutler of Cambridge; a brother, Richard (Linda) Dollison of Quaker City; and five grandchildren, Victoria, Lauren, Jack, Jordan and Caitlin.
