Gary L. Kafury

Gary L. Kafury, 65, of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday (December 28, 2008) at his home. He was born on October 19, 1943 in Akron, son of Pauline (Ingram) Kafury Kahrig and the late Raymond Kafury. Mr. Kafury was a retired postal employee, having worked at the Byesville Post Office for many years. He was a life member of the NRA and also a life member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901. Mr. Kafury was a United States Army veteran, having served during the Vietnam Era. He is survived by his wife, Marcia M. (Medvetz) Kafury of the home, whom he married on July 20, 1968; his mother, Pauline (Ingram) Kafury Kahrig of Cambridge; a brother, Tom (& Becky) Kafury of Cambridge; a step-brother, Richard Chippi of Michigan; six nephews; a niece; and thirteen great-nieces & great-nephews. No calling hours will be observed. No services will be held.
