Gary Steven Pitner

Gary Steven Pitner, 66, of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the Embassy of Cambridge.

Gary was born on June 7, 1958, a son to the late George and Gertrude (Basak) Pitner.

Gary was previously self-employed with a lawn mower repair shop. His number one hobby was fishing, and in his younger years, storm chasing. Gary was a U.S. Navy veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Trudi Pitner, and his brother, Glen Pitner.

Gary is survived by his three daughters, Brandi (Chris) Henry of Irmo, SC, Allyson Pitner of Cambridge, and Dawn (Todd) Saltzer of New Concord, one brother, George Pitner of Raleigh, NC, his sister, Karen Nicholas of IL, and six grandchildren, Camdyn, Kylie, Audree, Alexis, Quinten, and Taylor.

There will be a memorial service at a later date.
