George Thomas Snyder

George Thomas Snyder, 76, of Fenwick, Nicholas County, WV died Monday, June 13, 2011 at his home. Born August 15, 1934 at Nettie, he was a son of the late William and Chessie Ramsey Snyder. He was also preceded in by two brothers, James and Claude Snyder and a grandson, David Snyder. He was a retired auto worker with thirty years of service and attended the Ward Road Freewill Baptist Church at Nettie. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Peters Snyder; children, Anna of Newcomerstown, Charles of North Olmsted, Roy of Cleveland, and Gene of Coshocton; adopted children, Allen, Angel, and Adam, all of Byesville and Holly of Nettie; siblings, Wilda Kidd, Carol Perkins, Donis Snider, and Caroline Sanders; grandchildren, Christina, Jessica, Jamie, and Amanda; honorable children, Jack and Charlotte; seven great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Family and friends may call on Friday (June 17, 2011) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 11 a.m.
