Geraldine G. "Gerry" Cutlip, 84, of Quaker City, died Tuesday (February 28, 2012) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Center, Cambridge. She was born August 11, 1927 in Akron, daughter of the late Joseph Lancaster and Mary (Garlic) Lancaster. Mrs. Cutlip worked at RCA and NCR. She was a member of the Word of Life Ministries of West Lafayette. She loved listening to her children sing. She also enjoyed cooking for her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Wayne Cutlip, who died April 2, 2007. They were married on December 21, 1941. Also deceased is a son, Bradley Cutlip; and three sisters, Eunice, Gene, and Midge. She is survived by two sons, Everett "Butch" (& Lonnie) Cutlip Jr. of Old Washington and Jerry Cutlip of Amsterdam; six daughters, Mary Ferdon of Cambridge, Patricia Smith of Cambridge, Nancy (& Randy) Neuhart of Quaker City, Susan (& Chuck) Beal of Kimbolton, Becky (& Chris) Blankenship of Brookwood AL, and Karen (& Scott) Wheeler of Antrim; a sister, Lida Donatelli of Akron; twenty-four grandchildren; forty-nine great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Friday (March 2, 2012) from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 9 p.m. with Pastor Aaron Long officiating.
