Geraldine Supinski

November 16, 1926 — March 4, 2010

Geraldine Supinski, 83, a resident of Autumn Health Care Center, Cambridge, formerly of Quaker City, passed away Thursday (March 4, 2010) at The Ohio State University Medical Center, Columbus. She was born Nov. 6, 1926, in Ashland, Ky., the daughter of the late William and Bessie (Byers) Goodman. She was Pentecostal by faith. She was also an avid supporter of the disabled veterans. She loved to sing and whenever there were others in need, she was always giving of herself. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Tiffany Urick; one brother; and six sisters. Survivors include two sons, Louis Matthew Urick of Cambridge and Jeffery Lee (Cynthia) Urick of Locust Grove, Va.; two daughters, Georganna (Doug) Hull of Quaker City and Theresa Olivia Taylor of Cambridge; three grandchildren, Jeri Sue Taylor, 1st Sgt. James Wayne Taylor (serving in the U.S. Army) and Gerra Olivia Hull; one great-granddaughter, Madison Taylor; and special family members, Spunky, China, Isabell Storm, Tiffy, Shelby Hope, Sadie and Rudy. No calling hours will be observed. A private family memorial service will take place at the Kennonsburg United Methodist Church at a later date. Pastor Mark Slay will officiate Private graveside services will also be held at a later date at the Salesville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted with the Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City. Memorial contributions may be made to Autumn Health Care's Activities Department.
