Gerry Arthur Roth

Gerry Arthur Roth, 82, of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the Embassy of Cambridge. Gerry was born on August 11, 1942, in Cambridge, a son to the late Marvin Arthur and Helen Ruth (Smith) Roth. Gerry worked as a Therapeutic Program Worker at the Cambridge Developmental Center and was a Pastor at Grace Baptist where he retired. He enjoyed trains, coins, and watching the Ohio State Buckeyes, and was a firefighter at the Athens Firehouse. Gerry was a United States Army veteran. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Louise Roth-Shay. Gerry is survived by his wife, Dianna Roth, whom he married on October 16, 1965, three daughters, Susan (Mark) Burgess of Cambridge, Barbara Wheeler of Cambridge, and Debra Roth of Cambridge, and four grandchildren, Mark (Shara) Allen Burgess II, Darian Michael Burgess, Christopher Devin Burgess, and Nickolas David Wheeler. A private family burial was held.
