Gilda S. Carden

Gilda S. Carden, 58, of New Concord, died Sunday (May 31, 2020) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

She was born November 28, 1961 in Fort Campbell KY, daughter of the late Joel Hill and Billie Jo (Callins) Hill.

Mrs. Carden retired from Sears, where she had worked in customer service.

She enjoyed traveling with her husband and going to casinos. She loved Chihuahuas, especially "Callie Girl".

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Carden; a sister, Brenda Jo Hill; a brother, Jimmy Hill.

She is survived by a son, Timothy Donaldson of Phenix City AL; a daughter, Holly (& Joseph) Eckelberry of New Concord; a sister, Wanda Mason of Las Vegas NV; three grandchildren, Leah Bernard, Mariah Hanie, and Robert Bernard Jr.; her nieces and nephews, Kimberly Hill, Christopher Mason, and Erin Wells; her lifelong friends, Tina Johnson and Kay Harris; and many other friends as well.

No calling hours will be observed. No funeral services will be held at this time.
