Grace M. Davis

Grace M. Davis, 84, of Cambridge, died Sunday (December 27, 2009) at her home. She was born January 21, 1925 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Isaiah Poland and Donna (Williams) Poland. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy and a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. She also was a member of the Guernsey County Senior Citizens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Junior Davis, who died September 9, 2005; six sisters; and five brothers. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Joan Davis of Cambridge. Family and friends may call on Wednesday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Thursday (December 31, 2009) at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Jimmie Turner & Pastor Robert Lawson officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
