Grace O. Mason Hursey, 96, of Cambridge, died Monday (November 5, 2007) at the Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. She was born on July 22, 1911 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late William Hazlett Fulton and Mary Elizabeth (Hill) Fulton. Mrs. Hursey retired from the Cambridge Health Care Center. She was Protestant by faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Herman H. Mason, who died in 1942; her second husband, Frank S. Hursey, who died in 1980; two sons, Glen Mason and James Mason; two daughters, Aurelia Seevers and Betty Rice; two brothers, William Fulton and Leonard "Pappy" Fulton; and four sisters, Ruth Mitchell, Lena Callihan, Julia Huntsman and Alice Hill. She leaves three sons, Robert (& Darlene) Mason of Quaker City, Kenneth (& Louise) Mason of Senecaville and Richard (& Irene) Mason of Kansas City KS; three daughters, Shirley (& Ralph) Lester of Cleveland TN, Sue (& Pete) Blazvick of Cambridge and Delores (& Dave) Decker of Strasburg; twenty-four grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren & great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Friday (November 9, 2007) at 10 a.m. with Rev. David Mansperger officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
