Gregory "Greg" Walter Tucker, born on March 20, 1952, in Stow, Ohio, passed away peacefully at his home on February 19, 2026. His life was dedicated to both his career and his passions, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Greg was a devoted Service Rig Foreman in the oil field, where his knowledge and expertise earned him the respect of his colleagues. He held two associates degrees, one of which was in CAD Drafting. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Greg was a man of many interests and talents. He enjoyed woodworking, camping, coin collecting, and the nostalgic pursuit of gathering baseball cards and Boy Scout shoulder patches from other troops. He showed great skill in remodeling homes, transforming three houses into beloved family spaces. Furthermore, Greg had a love for target shooting, cooking, and grilling, and he was an avid supporter of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Ohio State Buckeyes.

His commitment to community service was evidenced by his active participation in scouting. Greg was a proud member of the Order of the Arrow and the Cambridge Eagles. He served as a Scout Leader for the Byesville Church of Christ Troop #542 and held the position of Scout Master for Quaker City Troop #570, a troop that successfully produced six Eagle Scouts under his guidance.

Greg is survived by his loving wife, Pam Tucker, whom he married on April 28, 1984. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Adam (Tessa) Geary of New Philadelphia and Justin (Tabatha) Geary of New Concord, as well as his daughter, D'Arcie Blevins of Salesville. His legacy continues through his grandchildren: Quentin (Rachel) Blevins, Shayley Geary, Emerson Geary, Eva Rose, and one great-grandchild on the way. He is also survived by special friends Sam Bradshaw, Keith Boulet, and Ken Scherf, along with his brother-in-law and sister-in-law, James and Patricia Samford, and numerous nieces, nephews, and neighbors.

In addition to those who cherished him in life, Greg is reunited with his parents, George Tucker and Vernice Tucker; his brothers, James Tucker and Carl Tucker; his sister, Connie Beardmoore; and his son, Brandon Geary.

A visitation in remembrance of Greg will be held on February 25, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Middlebourne Community Church, located at 21566 Bridgewater Rd, Quaker City, OH 43773. Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place at the same location, starting at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Greenwood Cemetery in Byesville.
