H. Lorraine Larrick

H. Lorraine Larrick, 90, of Cambridge, died Saturday (September 29, 2012) at the Genesis-Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. She was born April 27, 1922 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Joshua Guy Bates and Opal Inez (Geary) Bates. She was united in marriage on October 11, 1958 to Rollin B. Larrick. Mrs. Larrick was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School. She was an active member of the Calvary Baptist Church of Byesville. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rollin; and a brother, Guy Bates Jr. She is survived by a son, Michael (Marsha) Larrick Sr. of Cambridge; five grandchildren, Amy (Terry) Pontius of New Concord, Michael (Misty) Larrick Jr. of Cambridge, Keith Larrick of Cambridge, Erica Ward of Cambridge, and Jessica (Dave) Dick of Cambridge; twelve great-grandchildren, Chelsie Ross, Justin Ross, Kylie Pontius, Emmie Pontius, Chevelle Roberts, Gunner Larrick, Allison Larrick, Alicia Larrick, Zackary Elston, Haylie Ward, Jordan Dick, and Seth Dick; a great-great-granddaughter, Zoey Ann Pontius; and many nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Wednesday (October 3, 2012) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dennis Rost officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
