Harold L. Borton

Harold L. Borton, 68, of Salesville, passed away Thursday (Nov. 21, 2013) at Union Hospital, Dover. He was the son of the late Wilford and Freda (Marshall) Borton. Mr. Borton was a well known trucker, carpenter, logger, mason and equipment operator. He was a Baptist by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Lyman and Byron; and a sister, Elaine Buco. He leaves his wife of 24 years, Esther (Showalter) Borton; a brother, Glen (Veronica) Borton of South Carolina; three sisters, Dorthea Brown of Elkton, Ky., Janice (Olen) Jones of Indiana, and Melba (Jim) Bixby of Canton; five daughters, Brenda Hartsook of Quaker City, Missy (Terry) Logan of Florida, Tammy (Herbie) Dunn, Susan ( Darryl) Logan and Danielle Borton, all of Georgia; stepchildren, Kim (Steve Overly) Masters of Old Washington, Jimmy (Irma) Sharrock and T. J. Sharrock of Quaker City; 18 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and a special friend, Virginia Watson. In following with Harold's wishes, no services will be held.
