Harold G. Potts, 83, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (February 7, 2007) at his home. He was born October 28, 1923 in Guernsey County, son of the late Roy Potts and Audrey (Thompson) Potts. Mr. Potts was a truck driver for Point Trucking for many years. He also had worked at Universal Pottery as a kiln placer. He enjoyed bowling and fishing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Bell (Clark) Potts, who died on December 13, 1990. They were married on July 22, 1944. Also deceased is a sister, Roberta Tice. He leaves two sons, Howard Webb of New Concord and Paul (& Cindy) Potts of Cambridge; two daughters, Sally (& Harry) Yarnell of Cambridge and Ruth Guess of Athens AL; twenty-six grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be held on Saturday (February 10, 2007) at 11 a.m. with Rev. Bill Cain officiating. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
