Harry M. Floyd, 86, of Quaker City, passed away Tuesday (February 15, 2022) at Emerald Pointe Nursing Home, Millersburg.
He was born January 16, 1935, son of the late Russell T. and Helen (McKee) Floyd.
He retired from the Ohio Department of Transportation as a project manager after 33 years. Harry was a member of the Masonic Lodge #500 Quaker City and the Quaker City Methodist Church. He also enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes.
In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife Shelby (Duncan) Floyd who he married on July 6, 1957, and a sister Marilyn Carr.
He is survived by one niece Debbie Duncan; and three nephews Robert Duncan, David (Jill) Carr, and Douglas (Karen) Carr.
Calling hours will be observed on Friday, February 18, 2022, from 11 am until the time of the Masonic Service at 12:30pm. The service where Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh will be officiating will begin at 1pm at Thorn- Black Funeral Home Quaker City. Burial will follow in Friends Cemetery.
