Harry J. Moseley, 78, of Cambridge, died Monday (April 20, 2009) at his home. He was born on November 27, 1930 in Guernsey County, son of the late Harry C. Moseley and Dessie (Leeper) Moseley. Mr. Moseley was a retired tavern owner, having owned the Raven Café for twenty years. He was also a truck driver. He was Presbyterian by faith. Mr. Moseley was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Cambridge VFW Post 2901. He was an avid hunter & fisherman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Jim; a brother, John; and a great-grandchild, Jordan. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie (Bethel) Moseley of the home, whom he married on April 10, 1954; two sons, Rodney Moseley of Cambridge and David (& Alice) Moseley of Byesville; a daughter, Marjorie "Sis" McCauley of Cambridge; a sister, Dorothy Riddle of Cambridge; nine grandchildren, Jimmy, Shawn, Scott, John, Shannon, Staci, Bruce, Amanda and Rodney; and sixteen great-grandchildren. In keeping with his wishes, Mr. Moseley will be cremated. No calling hours will be observed. No services will be held at this time. Interment will be at a later date.
