Helen Gertrude Garr, 81, of Lore City, died Sunday (March 23, 2008) at her home. She was born on April 19, 1926 in Independence, daughter of the late Andrew Radel and Caroline (Gayor) Radel. Mrs. Garr was a homemaker. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two brothers, Ernest and Robert Radel; and a sister, Margaret Lesko. She leaves her husband of twenty-eight years, Robert Ray Garr, whom she married on December 20, 1980; four sons, Lester Kruse of Cleveland, Donald Kruse of Cleveland, Thomas (& Jan) Kruse of Parma and Robert (& JoAnn) Kruse of Cambridge; three daughters, Nancy (& Thomas) Rosenfield of Florida, Deborah (& William) Paus of Cleveland and Eileen Jamison of Cleveland; a half-sister, Suzanne Krawalski of Maryland; twenty-two grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Family and friends may call on Tuesday (March 25, 2008) from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 2 p.m. Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
