Helen Gold

Helen Gold, 89, of Cambridge, passed away Tuesday (December 11, 2007) at the Cardinal House. She was born on November 13, 1918 in Robins, daughter of the late Joseph Mizikar Sr. and Mary (Petras) Mizikar. She married John Gold on August 29, 1942. Mrs. Gold was a homemaker. She was a member of the National Slovak Society. Mrs. Gold attended the St. Benedict Catholic Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Gold, who passed away on May 19, 2007. She leaves a son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Gary Gold of Sheridan WY; a brother, Joe (& Pauline) Mizikar of Cambridge; a sister, Marge Fabian of Elyria; grandchildren, Eric and Andi Gold of Arvada CO, Amy Gold of Billings MT and Nick and Stephany Gold of Billings MT; and great-grandchildren, Kyleigh Gold of Billings MT and Owen Gold of Arvada CO. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where wake services will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Saturday (December 15, 2007) at 1 p.m. at the St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, with Father Robert Borer officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville.
