Helen M. Harris, 67, of Byesville, died Monday (February 20, 2017) at Heath Nursing Care Center, Heath. She was born April 3, 1949 in Moorefield, daughter of the late James Lantz and Bessie Mae (Helmick) Lantz. Mrs. Harris was the owner of Creative T's of Byesville. She was a member of the Free Methodist Church and was a lifetime member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Earl Lantz Sr. She is survived by her husband, Gene Harris, whom she married March 20, 1982; two sons, Michael R. Conner Sr. of Byesville and H. William (& Angela) Harris of Westerville; a daughter, Rebecca A. (& Allen) Sandidge of Lewis Center; three brothers, James (& Barb) Lantz of New Port Ritchie FL, Robert Lantz of New Port Ritchie FL, and George Lantz of Vienna WV; ten grandchildren, Cynthya Repasky, Michael Conner Jr., Austin Conner, Chris Conner, Madison Walzak, Grayson Harris, Ashley Harris, Hannah Harris, Payton Sandidge, and Breeanna Sandidge; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be held Thursday (February 23, 2017) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held Friday (February 24, 2017) at 11 a.m. with Evang. Mark Beros officiating. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery, Byesville .
