Herbert Raymond Law, 79, of Quaker City, died Tuesday (September 25, 2007) at his home. He was born on October 13, 1927 in Quaker City, son of the late Raymond O. Law and Maude (Montgomery) Law. Mr. Law was a retired truck driver after fifty-one years of service. He was a 1946 graduate of Batesville High School. Mr. Law was a member of Mt. Zion Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy M. (Louden) Law, whom he married on March 1, 1963 and who died on March 8, 2002. He leaves five sons, Douglass R. Law of Quaker City, Bryan King of Senecaville, Troy (& Staci) King of Quaker City, Michael Law and David Law both of Pennsylvania; a daughter, Lori (& Jack) Felton of Quaker City; a sister, Virginia (& Virgil) Watson of Dover; fifteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Quaker City, where services will be held on Saturday (September 30, 2007) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Jeff Eschbaugh officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
