Hertha Matisko

Hertha Matisko, 82, of Cambridge, died Thursday (October 11, 2007) at her home. She was born on October 29, 1924 in Germany, daughter of the late Adolph Withopf and Wilhemina Junior Withopf. Mrs. Matisko was an administrative assistant with the Home Life Insurance Company for many years. She was a member of the St. Benedict Catholic Church of Cambridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband and a sister. She leaves a daughter, Rose Laurent of Cambridge; two grandchildren, Inga Nicole Laurent of Cambridge and David Michael Matisko of New Hampshire; and a brother-in-law, Ed Matisko of Cambridge. No calling hours will be observed. Funeral mass with Liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday (October 20, 2007) at 11 a.m. at the St. Benedict Catholic Church, Cambridge, with Father Robert Borer officiating.
