Ida "Queenie" Mae Earley

Ida Mae "Queenie" Earley, 69, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (February 17, 2009) at her home. She was born on February 9, 1940 in Canton, daughter of the late Charles J. Buckius Sr. and Pauline Heskett. Mrs. Earley was a collector of angels. She also enjoyed gardening and painting ceramics. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-two years, Thomas L. Earley Sr., who died on July 14, 2003; three brothers, Charles, Richard and John Buckius; and a sister, Georgia Conner. She is survived by four sons, Basil (& Janet) Earley, Thomas (& Mary) Earley Jr., Jeff (& Pam) Earley and Herman (& Gina) Bishard all of Cambridge; three daughters, Velma (& Fred Duniver Jr.) Dotson, Carol (& Buddy Richardson) Jones and Cora (& Mike Dingus) Mason all of Cambridge; a brother, Daniel (& Shirley) Beabout of New Philadelphia; a sister, Helen Maddox of Paris; a brother-in-law, Eugene Earley Cambridge; sixteen grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and several aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Family and friends may call on Friday (February 20, 2009) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will follow at 8 p.m. with Rev. Barbara Early officiating.
