Inez Hackley

Inez Hackley, 94, formerly of Heritage Court Apartments in Cambridge, died Monday (December 31, 2012) at Wheeling Hospital. She was born December 3, 1918 in Cambridge. She was raised by her mother, Lucille (Sickles) Hickman, and her step-father, Ezra Hickman. She was a former employee of Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center and also of the Holiday Inn. She attended the Good Shepherd Four-Square Gospel Church of Cambridge. Mrs. Hackley enjoyed playing bingo at Heritage Court. In addition to her mother and step-father, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hackley; four brothers; two sisters; and two grandsons. She is survived by three daughters, Shirley (& Tim) Dobbins of Canton, Betty (& John) Cosgrave of Cambridge, and Nancy (& William) Trigg of Flushing; two brothers, George (& Jeanine) Hickman of Cambridge and Roy (& Katherine) Hickman of Cambridge; a sister, Mary (& Bob) Blackstone of Cambridge; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces & nephews. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Friday (January 4, 2013) at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
