J. Richard "Dick" Frisbee, 80, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (June 5, 2018) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born September 22, 1937 in Cambridge, son of the late Robert "Bob" Frisbee and Grace (McConnell) Frisbee. A 1955 graduate of Cambridge High School, Mr. Frisbee was a civil engineer for the State of Ohio for many years. He earned degrees from both Muskingum College and Ohio University. He was a member of the Cambridge Elks Lodge 448. He enjoyed playing basketball and volleyball. Mr. Frisbee was a Corvette enthusiast. He is survived by two daughters, Debbie (Tim) Mosser of Cambridge and Doree (Tim) Evancho of Cambridge; a sister, Roberta "Bobbi" Charrier of North Dakota; five grandchildren, Jesse (Liz) Mosser of Marysville, Trent (Abbie) Mosser of Cambridge, Stephen (Rachel) Evancho of Upper Arlington, Michael (Jenna) Evancho of Cambridge, and David Evancho (fiancée, Katie Lapham); seven great-grandchildren; two nieces, Amy (Coleman) Noble and Samantha Coleman; a nephew, Justin Coleman; five great-nieces; and a great-nephew. No calling hours will be observed. No services will be held at this time. A graveside memorial service for the family will take place in the fall.
