Jack Alan Cornelius

Jack Alan Cornelius, 66, of Byesville, passed away on Friday, July 31, 2026, at his home.

Jack was born on November 25, 1959, in Cambridge, a son of the late Hugh Cornelius and Ona (Barrick) Dent.

Jack enjoyed fishing and riding motorcycles. He worked as a truck driver. Jack was a United States Army Veteran.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, James Cornelius.

Jack is survived by his sons, Hugh (Alyse) Cornelius of Zanesville, Rocky (Elizabeth) Ayres of Cambridge and Kyle (Kendra) Ayres of Roseville; his daughters, Rosetta Cornelius of Coshocton, Jacqulyn (Gary) Barker of Lima and Nicole (Thomas) Rutter of Byesville; his brothers, Robert (Ruth) Cornelius of Otsego, Danny Cornelius of Newcomerstown, William Dent of Otsegogfv and Lewis Dent of Otsego; twenty-four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and his best friend, Ron Kennedy.

There will be no services held.
