Jack D. Mcwilliams

Jack D. McWilliams, 82, of Cambridge, died Tuesday (September 22, 2020) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville.

He was born September 22, 1938 in Cambridge, son of the late David Harold McWilliams and Stella Jane (Thatcher) McWilliams.

Mr. McWilliams retired from the former Shenandoah Truck Stop, where he had worked as a fuel manager for many years.

He was a fifty-year member of the Cambridge Masonic Lodge and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star 211 of Cambridge.

Mr. McWilliams was a member of the 2 ^nd United Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by his wife, Carol (Lawless) McWilliams, whom he married April 27, 1958; a son, John David McWilliams of Cambridge; a daughter, Kimberly Jean (Thomas) Miller of Cambridge; four grandchildren, T.J. Miller, Marian "Punkie" Kirkbride, Jodi Tedrick, and Dustin McWilliams; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Saturday (September 26, 2020) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. [Per our Governor's current COVID-19 guidelines, face coverings are required to attend the visitation and/or services. Thank you.] Masonic services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home as well.

Burial will be at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
