Jack L. Vance

Jack L. Vance, 60, died Friday (April 29, 2011) at White Mountain Regional Medical Center, Eagar AZ. He was born October 24, 1950 in Zanesville, son of the late William B. Vance and Helen M. (Cosby) Vance. Mr. Vance was in charge of maintenance at the Elk Ridge Apartments until his retirement. He was a great photographer and loved music and movies of the West. He is survived by a son, Jonathan W. (Jessica) Vance of Eagle ID; two grandchildren, Will Vance and Audry Vance; a sister, Betty Vance (James) Massey of Lancaster; two nieces, Bonnie Nicklaus (Brian) and Beth Vosler (Joseph); a nephew, Brian Bennett; cousins, Tom Brower, Mark Cosby, Jeff Cosby, Susie Cosby Blatchey; and many friends in Eagar and Ohio. A memorial service will be held Saturday (May 21, 2011) at 10 a.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge.
