Jack E. White, 77, of Reynoldsburg, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at his home.
Jack was born on August 16, 1947, in Cambridge, a son of the late Jack and Mattie Mae (Hogan) White.
Jack was a 1964 graduate of Cambridge High School and obtained his bachelor's degree from University of Maryland. He was a United States Army Veteran and retired as a GS-13 Civil Servant. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, Keno at the Downs, and spending time with family. Jack was a lifelong member of St. Paul CME Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Tabler, Diane Smith, and Delores Davis.
Jack is survived by his son, Jack E. (Katherine) White of Reynoldsburg, his daughter, Stacey (Michael Jackson) White of Las Vegas, NV, his brothers, David White of Cambridge, John (Sherry) White of Durham, NC, Jerry White of Columbia, SC, and Randolph White of Cambridge, his sisters, Connie White of Cambridge, Christine Henderson of Flint, MI, Marsha (James) Martin of Marion, Peggy White of Cambridge, Linda Todd of Cambridge, Wanda Willett of Zanesville, and Carolyn White of Cambridge. Also left to cherish his memory are his five grandchildren, Jack III, Jasmyn, Mariah, Cierra, and D'Vonye, five great-grandchildren, Jaylon, Amira, Lila, X'alo, and Janiya, as well as his partner and companion, Delores D. Ford of Cambridge, his first wife, Betty White of Columbus, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and good friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, July 7, 2025, from 11AM-1PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service to immediately follow with Pastor Randolph White officiating. Burial will follow at Northwood Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
