Jackie "Jack" Brison Heddleson, 69, went to be with the Lord on June 26, 2024. Born May 19, 1955, in Cambridge, Ohio, he is the son of the late Shirley Illene (Wilfong) Heddleson and Richard Franklin Heddleson.
He was a graduate of Meadowbrook High School and served in the U.S. Navy from 1973-1977 on the U.S.S. Preble. He also served in the U.S. Naval Reserve from 1977-1979. He worked for the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS) as a training officer before retiring. He was past president of the Eagles Auxiliary Club in Cambridge, Ohio.
Jack loved and knew the Lord and had a great sense of humor. He always greeted everyone with a smile and "What's up!" He was a giver of his time and great listener. Jack made friends wherever he went. He wintered six months in North Myrtle Beach and the other six months near close cousins outside of Old Washington, Ohio.
Jack was an avid golfer, loved to listen to music and fish! He also enjoyed going to Nascar races with his brothers, as well as racing miniature replica Nascar cars too.
Jack is survived by several cousins, two aunts, one uncle, and several close friends, Corey, David, Donnie, Mel, Matt, and Angie. He is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Rich, Terry, and Dan, and one sister, Kathy. Per Jack's wishes, he will be cremated, and a Military Memorial Service will be celebrated at a later date. This will be held at the farm of Ann and Terry LePage.
