Jackie L. "Jack" Saffell

Jackie L. "Jack" Saffell, 62, of Cambridge, died Monday (June 7, 2010) at Genesis-Good Samaritan Medical Center, Zanesville. He was born December 25, 1947 in Cambridge, son of the late Jack Shannon Edward Saffell and Rose M. (Marlatt) Saffell. Mr. Saffell worked in the oil fields for over forty-five years. He was Catholic by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Penny. He is survived by his wife, Melissa (Yarnell) Saffell of the home; a son, Eric Saffell of Woodsfield; a daughter, Lasondra Saffell of Cambridge; four step-daughters, Lazzette Romine, Monieke Romine, Sheri Romine and Tonga Romine all of Cambridge; a brother, Rick Walters of Buffalo; a sister, Betty Wilson of Cambridge; and seven grandchildren. No calling hours will be observed. A family gathering to honor Jack's life will be held at a later date.
