Jackie Linn Savage
August 21, 1943 — January 28, 2021
Jackie Linn Savage, 77, of Cambridge, died Thursday (January 28, 2021) at the Louis Stokes VA Medical Center, Cleveland.
He was born August 21, 1943 in Cambridge, son of the late Walter Savage and Evelyn (Jeffery) Savage.
A 1961 graduate of John Glenn High School, Mr. Savage was a truck driver.
He was Christian by faith.
Mr. Savage was a US Marine Corps veteran, having served during the Vietnam War.
He is survived by seven children including, Jackie DeVore, Trent DeVore, and Melissa DeVore; also his former wife, Judy Meighen Savage and their children, Patricia Morton, Christina Bowman, Lee Savage, and Shane Savage; fifteen grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; six brothers; and three sisters.
Private services were held for the family with military honors conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
