Jacqueline (Jackie) Marie Panchak, 64, of Cambridge, passed away on Friday, January 5, 2024, at SEORMC.

Jackie was born on September 16, 1959, in Cleveland, a daughter of Peter Paul and Barbara Jean (Gress) Panchak.

She was a 1977 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. Jackie enjoyed shopping, reading, spending time with friends and family, and was always willing to help others in need. She was a member of St. Michaels Byzantine Catholic Church in Pleasant City.

She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Randy Ream.

Jackie is survived by her parents, Peter and Barbara Panchak of Pleasant City, two sons, Darren Jason Basford of Byesville, and Justin Michael Basford of Cambridge, one daughter, Nicole Marie Ludwig, two stepsons, Peter (Jill) Gooding of Toledo and Bradley Gooding of Old Washington, three sisters, Theresa Ream of Alabama, Patricia (Clark) Secard of Cleveland, and Pamela (Jason) Cohn of Pennsylvania. Also left to cherish her memory are her two grandchildren, Zakhiyah Romayne Houston and Zayden Jarek Ludwig, her life partner, James Gooding, and her special friend, Libby Wiggington.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 12, 2024, from 11AM-1PM at Thorn Black Funeral Home in Cambridge with the service to immediately follow with Father Edward Gretchko officiating.
