James Jirles, 73, of Cambridge, died Saturday (September 18, 2021) at Southeastern Med.
He was born November 18, 1947 in Cambridge, son of the late Samuel Jirles and Dorothy Mae (Williams) Jirles.
Mr. Jirles retired from the former Cambridge State Hospital, where he had worked as a health aide for many years.
Mr. Jirles was a US Army veteran, having served from 1968 to 1972.
He is survived by a brother, Jeff Jirles of Cambridge.
Graveside services and burial will be held at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge, on Tuesday (September 28, 2021) at 10 a.m. Military graveside honors will be conducted by the Guernsey County Veterans Council. Friends and family are welcome, but due to COVID-19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your own safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
