James Robert Oliver

James Robert Oliver, 70, of Kimbolton, died Thursday, February 1st, 2018, at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center.

He was born on December 30th, 1947, son of the late Robert Oliver and Clarice Waller Oliver.

Mr. Oliver was a 1966 graduate of Ridgewood High School.  He was a factory worker for many years and was a member of Flat Ridge Church.  He enjoyed farming and showing goats, hunting and fishing and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Mourer) Oliver of the home, who he married on October 30th, 1970; two daughters, Tricia (& Brad) Tolliver of Kimbolton and Anita Oliver also of Kimbolton; five brothers, Tom (& Lucille) Oliver of Kimbolton, Joe (& Donna) Oliver of Cambridge, Mark (&  Wanita) Oliver and George Oliver, also of Kimbolton, and John (& Debbie) Oliver of Florida; two granddaughters, Ashley (& Bradley) Wilson and Courtney Tolliver, both of Kimbolton.  Many, many nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours will be held Monday February 5th from 11 am to 1 pm at Flat Ridge Church, Rte 658 in Cambridge.  Funeral services will follow at 1 pm with Pastor Rodney West officiating.  Burial will immediately follow at Flat Ridge Cemetery.
