James D. Price

James "Jim" D. Price, 64, of Ashville, died Sunday (November 27, 2016) at Mt. Carmel West, Columbus, after a short illness. He was born January 20, 1952 in Cambridge, son of the late Charles Herbert Price and Dorathy (Orbin) Price. Mr. Price had worked as the coordinator for the water treatment plant at the Pickaway Correctional Institute for over twenty-five years. He was an avid fan and rider of Harley Davidson motorcycles.  He was a friend to everyone he met. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Herb; and a sister, Delores "Doll". He is survived by his wife, Carrie (Miller) Price, whom he married July 4, 2000; a son, Cory Price of Mt. Carmel IL; a step-daughter, Abby (& Jason) Crawford of New Concord; a sister, Patty (& Don) Hague of Painesville; five grandchildren, Christopher, Gage, Preston, Samantha, and Jessy – who Jim always called "Bill"; and two nephews, Keith Hague of Pennsylvania and Donnie Hague of Painesville. No calling hours will be observed. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
