James "Sarge" Sarchet

James "Sarge" Sarchet, 57, of Salesville, died December 25, 2016 at his home. He was born October 7, 1959 in Cambridge, son of Harold Sarchet and Patricia Fern (Johnson) Sarchet. Mr. Sarchet had worked as a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was a 1978 graduate of Buckeye Trail High School. He enjoyed fishing. He is survived by two sons, Jimmy (& Kelly) Sarchet of Lore City and Joey Sarchet of Columbus; a daughter, Patricia Sarchet of Columbus; a brother, Thomas (& Carolyn) Sarchet of Cambridge; a sister, Patty K. (& Richard) Sarchet-Kennedy of Cambridge; and the mother of his children, Louise Morris. No calling hours will be observed. A private memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.
