James Stone

James M. Stone Jr., known as "Stone", 48, of Columbus, passed away to be with his soulmate and love of his life, Kerry O'Shea Stone. James gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donations, Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Twinsburg Family Health and Surgery Center.

James was born August 21, 1973, a son of Susan Warner- Stone and the late James M. Stone Sr.

James worked at Wasserstrom Restaurant Supply in Columbus. He loved the Ohio State Buckeyes, Pittsburgh Steelers, Columbus Blue Jackets, family gatherings, fishing, shooting guns, and Friday night gatherings with his Columbus family, and PBR and Jim Beam. He was a 1991 graduate of Meadowbrook High School, and member of the Cambridge Eagles 386.

In addition to his father and stepmother Connie, he is also preceded in death by the love of his life, Kerry O'Shea Stone, whom he married May 14, 2005, and passed away April 23, 2013, his maternal grandparents, Helen and Walter Warner Jr., his paternal grandparents, James, and Jane Stone, and his fur baby, Sophie.

James is survived by his mother and stepfather, Susan and Larry Perkins, his brother and best friend, Jerry Stone of Byesville, his mother-in-law, Diane O'Shea, his sister-in-law, Catherine (Matthew) Kells, his step siblings, Melanie Carna, Aaron (Brandy) Perkins, Eric (Julie) Wilson, Adam Wilson, Alicia Wilson, his special nieces and nephews, Max Stone and Haylee Johnson, his aunts and uncles, Mike (Becky) Warner, Tom (Teri) Warner, Brenda Haynes, Pat (Tina) Stone, Brian (Patricia) Stone, David (Laura) Stone, his Columbus family and friends, and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial visitation will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2022, from 1:00-4:00 PM at Thorn-Black Funeral Home in Cambridge.

Family and Friends are welcome, but due to COVID- 19 please take all necessary precautions to ensure your safety and everyone else's should you decide to attend.
