James Mike "The Kid" Johnston

James Mike "The Kid" Johnston, 65, of Cambridge, passed away Friday, September 30, 2022, at his home.

James was born August 1, 1957, in Cambridge, a son to the late James and Betty (Shaffer) Johnston.

He worked for the City of Cambridge for over 20 years in the Utilities Department. James loved fishing, hunting, bowling, and spending time with his family and grandkids. He was a wonderful grandpa.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death his brother Dave Johnston.

James is survived by his wife of twenty years, Angela Fair- Johnston; a son Michael McCoy of Cambridge; 3 daughters, Angela Johnston Kenisell of South Carolina, Jamie (& Chad) Johnson of Cambridge, and Jessica (& Jeff) Luke of Cambridge; 4 grandchildren, Emma Sills, Erika Luke, Kaitlyn Luke, and Paisley McCoy; and his longtime friend Bobby Coury.
