Jane Collart

Jane (Ford) Collart, 87, of Cambridge, died Thursday (May 9, 2019) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge.

She was born January 21, 1932 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Raymond Ford and Helen (Smith) Ford.

Mrs. Collart was a lifelong homemaker. She loved watching game shows, working on puzzle books, and going to bingo at the Guernsey County Senior Center.

She was a graduate of Cambridge High School.

Mrs. Collart was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and loved attending the church whenever she could.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Collart, who died June 29, 2005; a brother, Donald Ford; and two sisters, June Sherman and Mary Hayes.

She is survived by two daughters, Darlene (& Samuel) Mayenchien of Cambridge and Lisa (& Rex) Davis of Cambridge; a brother, William (& Gloria) Ford of Tennessee; two sisters, Joan (& Glenn) Tuttle of Kimbolton and Pat (& Harry) Nickols of New Concord; two grandchildren, Nikolas (& Deidra) Davis of Zanesville and Caitlin Davis of Cambridge; a great-grandchild, Graham Allan Davis; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation will be held Monday (May 13, 2019) from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. with Pastor Wib Bragg officiating.

Burial will follow at Guernsey Memory Gardens, Cambridge.
