Janet Eileen Roberts

Janet Eileen Roberts, 70, of Cambridge, died Wednesday (June 8, 2016) at Genesis Hospital, Zanesville. She was born April 20, 1946 in Guernsey County, daughter of the late Wilber Lee Ryan and Mildred Pearl (Cornett) Ryan. Mrs. Roberts worked at the Cambridge Developmental Center for twenty years, where she had been an RCS supervisor. She was a graduate of Cambridge High School. She cherished spending time with her family and liked being entertained by her two dogs, Izzy and Lizzy. She loved working with flowers and gardening as well. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert O. Ryan and Terry Ryan; a grandson, Cole Grieves; and a nephew, Richard Ryan. She is survived by her husband, Dale Roberts, whom she married on October 25, 1991; a son, John (& Denise) Fadorsen of Columbus; three daughters, Brenda (& Joe) Wolford of Mount Vernon, Lisa Fadorsen of the home; and Melissa (& Mike) Klemkosky of Palmetto FL; a stepson, Dusty (& Marie) Roberts of Cambridge; two brothers, Dick (& Cathy) Ryan of Bradenton FL and Jack (& Susan) Ryan of Cambridge; a sister, Frances Frenton of Merritt Island FL; eleven grandchildren, Brian, Anthony, Abby, Michaela, McKenzie, Avery, Hunter, Cody, Ava, Chevelle, and Breanna; and two great-grandchildren, Hailey and Maddie. Visitation will be held Sunday (June 12, 2016) from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge. Burial will be at Northfield Cemetery in Knox Township, at a later date.
