Janice Roe Keith passed away January 7, 2026 at the age of 87 with family by her side. She was born September 8, 1938 in Batesville, Ohio to Harold Luther and Grace Stephens Roe. She was a proud graduate of Batesville High School and Cambridge Business College.

Janice met Andy Keith, who she later married, during college and while working at the Lin Mar Restaurant in Cambridge. Their early years of marriage included an Army military relocation to Georgia where Janice worked for the Atlantic Company and Georgia Railroad Bank and Trust. Week-ends were spent exploring the area.

Upon returning to Ohio Janice worked at The Daily Jeffersonian in the position of Society Editor and later retired from Guernsey Memorial Hospital from the position of ER Registration after 35 years of service. During this time Janice and Andy raised two daughters, Sandra Keith of Orlando, Florida and Susan Keith of the home. Janice found immense joy in her role as a grandmother and great-grandmother. She was also a member of the 10th Street Church of Christ.

In addition to her husband and daughters Janice leaves to cherish her memory grandchildren Aaron (Jam) Blankenship, Alyssa O'Brien and Amanda (Lucas) Watson, along with great-grandchildren Bentley, Oakley, Brodie and Brooklyn O'Brien and Elsie Watson. Throughout her life family was most important to Janice. She also leaves behind close sisters, Ardith Winland, Delma Carpenter, Carole Altland and Shirley Balista as well as a dear sister-in-law Thelma Roe and many nieces, nephews and friends. Janice is predeceased by her parents and brothers Darrell Roe and Gene Roe.

Graveside service and burial will be Saturday, January 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM at Friends Cemetery in Quaker City, OH. Light lunch immediately following. The family would like to thank Hospice of Guernsey County and close friend Sheila Buchtel for their special care and attention.
