Janice Pfannenstiel, 81, of Lore City, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Countryview Assisted Living.

Janice was born on February 20, 1942, in Pittsburgh, Kansas, a daughter of the late Clair and Mabel (Reichert) White.

Janice was an avid Denver Broncos fan, loved to read, do crosswords, enjoyed crafting, was very artistic and enjoyed spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the American Legion, the VFW in Buffalo, the Moose Lodge, and the Eagles. Janice was very patriotic and very active in the American Legion.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Pfannenstiel.

Janice is survived by her daughter, Shelly (Steve) Starr of Lore City, one sister, Mary Lee of Windsor, CO, two granddaughters, Caley Starr of Lore City and Chelsea Starr of Lore City, and a niece, Jennifer (Aaron) Crum.
