Janice Lynn Touvell-Casey, 62, of Kipling, passed away Friday (November 22, 2019) at Riverside Hospital, Columbus.
She was born August 1, 1957 in Cambridge, daughter of the late Charles Raymond and Leota Mae Johnson-Touvell.
Lynn was a factory worker for many years, in addition to working as an Avon representative for over twenty years. She enjoyed working in her yard, reading the Jeffersonian every day, and spending time with her many friends and family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, Charles Touvell; a brother, Marion "Butch" Touvell; and three sisters, Rilla Clause, Judith Ogle-Touvell, and Rebecca Wyckoff.
She is survived by her daughter, Tonya L. (& Brian K.) Bates of Lore City; four grandchildren, Ryan Tesla (& Tiffany) Caswell of New Albany, Colton Bates of New Albany, Macenzie Bates, and Madison Bates of Lore City; two brothers, Ray A. Touvell and Frank R. Touvell both of Lore City; a good friend and ex-husband, James Casey of Cambridge; and many nieces & nephews.
Memorial visitation hours will be held Wednesday (November 27, 2019) from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where a celebration of life service will follow at 6 p.m.
