Jason M. Davis

Jason M. Davis, 40, of Medina, died Wednesday (May 12, 2021) at Cleveland Metro Hospital following an industrial accident.

He was born June 3, 1980 in Zanesville, son of Michael Davis and Linda (Hayes) Davis.

Mr. Davis worked at Cleveland Cliffs Steel Company, where he was a process manager in mechanical maintenance.  He earned his Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Cleveland State University.

He was a member of the Medina United Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roger and Muriel Davis; and an aunt, Terrelle Rominger.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannie (Gage) Davis; his parents, Michael and Linda Davis; a son, Andrew Michael Davis of Medina; a daughter, Emma Rae Davis of Medina; a stepdaughter, Layla Lee Karam of Medina; two brothers, Keith Davis of Medina and Matthew (Michele) Davis of South Mills NC; his maternal grandparents, Richard and Faye Hayes of Salesville; an uncle, Virl Hayes; and three aunts, Michelle Roten, Lisa Kahrig, and Lori Mayberry.

Visitation will be held Thursday (May 20, 2021) from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at the Salesville Church of Faith (119 Locust Street, Salesville), where funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Perry Baranich officiating.

Burial will be at Friends Cemetery, Quaker City.

Additionally, a memorial service will be held on Tuesday (June 15, 2021) at 3 p.m. at the Medina United Church of Christ (217 E. Liberty Street, Medina OH 44256).
