Jason R. "Jay-Jay" Durben, 32, of Cambridge, died Saturday (October 30, 2010) at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center, Cambridge. He was born July 21, 1978 in Cambridge, son of Milton Durben and Judy (Hibbs) Durben. Mr. Durben was a construction worker for the New River Electric Company. He was Methodist by faith. He loved hunting, fishing, and four-wheeling. He was always willing to help family, friends, and neighbors. Mr. Durben attended East Muskingum Schools. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Harry Durben; maternal grandparents, Lewis and Ferna Hibbs; a sister, Paula; and an aunt, Debbie Estep. He is survived by his parents, Milton and Judy Durben of Cambridge; a sister, Melissa (& Keith) Johns of Zanesville; two brothers, Micheal (& Amy) Durben of Cumberland and Jeffrey (& Tawnya) Durben of Ava; his paternal grandmother and step-grandfather, Veronica and Bob Miller of Cambridge; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where funeral services will be held on Wednesday (November 3, 2010) at 11 a.m. Burial will be at the North Salem Community Cemetery.
