Jay Hobson

Jay E Hobson, 62, passed peacefully at home on Monday, June 13, 2022, with his loving wife and son by his side.  Jay was the son of the late James C. and Mary R. (Wheeler) Hobson.  Jay married the love of his life, Tracy, on October 31, 1983, and together they had one son, Blake J., of the home.

Jay loved fishing, going out to the lake, boating, steaks on the grill, happy hour cocktails with Tracy, and watching TV with his son Blake.  Jay was an avid Ohio State fan and enjoyed listening to classic rock music.

Along with his wife and son, Jay leaves behind two sisters-in law, Teri (Michael) Bors of Florida and Kelly (the late Michael) Merullo of Columbus, and a special friend of the family, Mary Kertel.

Honoring the wishes and privacy of the family, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.   A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
