Jean A. Daugherty, 77, of Cambridge, died Friday (April 24, 2015) at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born May 27, 1937, in Cambridge, daughter of the late Homer A. and Ruth G. (Henderson) Daugherty. Jean retired after 26 years from NCR, where she worked as an assembler. She was a member of The Good Shepard 4-Square Gospel Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Conner; and two great-nieces, Myah Conner and Brittany Daugherty. She is survived by a son, Aaron Conner of Cambridge; a daughter, Da'Nae Conner of Cambridge; a brother, Dan M. Daugherty Sr. of Cambridge; a sister, Judy (Bob) Bishard of Cambridge; nieces and nephews, Dave (Missy) Daugherty, Dennis (Lisa) Daugherty, Doug (Rexann) Daugherty, Dan (Sue) Daugherty Jr., Heidi (Bill) Gray, Heather Hendershot, Holly (Jaycen) Wyers, Denise Reed, Joe (Dee) Conner, Kathie Conner and Stephanie Cale; and also many great-nieces and great-nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Thorn-Black Funeral Home, Cambridge, where services will be Tuesday (April 28, 2015) at 11 a.m. with Pastor Martin Hennessy officiating. Burial will follow in Northwood Cemetery.
