Jeannetta C. Oakley

Jeannetta C. Oakley, 96, of Cambridge, died Thursday (December 28, 2017) at Greystone Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cambridge. She was born September 15, 1921 in Norwich, daughter of the late William Brock and Minnie (Geyer) Brock. Mrs. Oakley had worked as a clerk for Montgomery Ward and JJ Newberry. She was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert E. Oakley, who died October 10, 1998; a daughter, Constance "Connie" Minder; two brothers, William Brock and Ralph Brock; and a sister, Elsie Siegfried. She is survived by a daughter, Patty (& Bill) Cubbison of Pickerington; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held Saturday (December 30, 2017) from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the Northwood Cemetery Mausoleum Chapel, Cambridge, where funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be at Northwood Cemetery, Cambridge.
